Demetra Markopoulos, author of the
popular CarsDiva blog, announced today the beta launch of her new social
networking online community, CarsDiva.com, specifically created for
women automotive consumers, enthusiasts, and those working in automotive
related industries. The first of its kind in the industry, the network
offers all of the features of a full functioning specialized
FaceBook-type network, including Web pages that can be customized by
each member through text, audio and video blogging, and the ability to
upload photographs and videos, maintain public and private groups,
message boards, Internet chat and shared media, etc.
The new online affinity network will feature an easy-to-use and easy to
understand automotive dealer ranking/review system, where consumers can
go to both rate their dealer sales and service experience, or find out
what their neighbors think of their local new and used car retailers.
There are many sites that review vehicles, but few that provide
unbiased, meaningful consumer review data on the sales and service
performance of dealer retailers. The CarsDiva.com social network will
make it easy for consumers to either find or create ratings and reviews
of local dealers, including sales and service facility experiences and
customer treatment.
